Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 3, 2026

This policy covers amathlai.com (this website) and the desktop apps we publish — Windows Notification Fixer, Windows Kontext, and Shift-Shift. The only data involved is anonymous analytics, described below.

1. Website Cookies and Analytics

With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, clicks, session duration). IP addresses are anonymized. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent.

GA4 data is processed by Google LLC, which may transfer it to the United States under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out globally with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

See our Cookie Policy for the exact cookies and how to manage them.

2. Desktop Apps — Anonymous Usage Statistics

Our desktop apps — Windows Notification Fixer, Windows Kontext, and Shift-Shift — each send one anonymous heartbeat per day to Google Analytics so we know how many people use them and which OS versions are running them. This is the only telemetry any of these apps performs.

What each heartbeat contains:

What heartbeats never contain:

Heartbeats are received by Google LLC and may be processed in the United States under their Privacy Policy. You can opt out by uninstalling the app or by blocking www.google-analytics.com in your firewall.

Shift-Shift performs additional network calls beyond this heartbeat (license verification, AI requests). Those are covered by the Shift-Shift privacy policy.

3. Buying on This Site

On the checkout page we collect one thing: the email address you type. We use it to send you the licence or token you bought, and we keep it with the sale record so we can handle refunds and support requests.

Payment itself is handled by PayPal on PayPal's own systems — your card or PayPal account details never reach amathlai.com, and we never see or store them. We receive only the payment confirmation: the transaction id and the amount. The checkout page also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check that protects the payment form.

4. What We Don't Do

5. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and similar laws, you can opt out of analytics at any time — clear this site's storage in your browser to re-show the cookie banner, uninstall the desktop apps, or use the Google opt-out link above. For any other request — including deleting the email address attached to a purchase — email us using the contact below.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the Effective Date above will change too.
